Do you think that Yolanda Saldi­var, the murderer of Selena the singer in 1995 was insane or was it truly an accident? For me she seemed to be mental or a very good liar. I doubt the r-pe or alleged documents that would prove Selena had an affair with a surgeon were false. Selena's father seemed to think that Yolanda was a lesbian and may of been jealous of Selena?

I think you meant that you doubt the rape and the alleged documents that would prove Selena was having an affair were real? A TV interviewer asked Saldivar about it but after an investigation with the information she provided, nothing was found.

Then she must be a terrible liar. I cannot understand how you can go one for years stealing money without anyone detecting you though. In fact it was the fans themselves who started to alert Selena's family about not receiving packages, etc. Either Selena trusted her too much or they were not 'bright' enough to follow-up.

She was one of Selena's best friends. Selena not only trusted her, she cared about her and I supposed she tried to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Apparently not really a 'best' friend unless her middle name is Judas. It goes to show how money can warp the mind and make an actress out of you. However, after the murder, conviction and jail time along most of the time one would think she would have enough 'too much by myself' periods where she would feel to confess and bring it all in the open - but apparently others would rather see hell than admit anything - maybe it is this characteristic that enabled her to embezzle the money with a straight face.

Well, she is not having a good time. Twenty-three out of Twenty-four hours she spends on isolation without any type of human contact because in jail there are many fans of Selena who have threaten her to kill her. No joke.

She will be able to get parole when she turns 65.

Comments: It's extremely difficult to believe anything that Yolanda says either in 1995 during an interview with Maria Celeste or now, she has been in relative isolation for 13 years now, 23 out of 24 hours in the ICU unit, that would drive anyone insane, we may never know the entire story. If Selena had a fault, it was that she trusted too much, that was her nature, she wanted to see the good in everyone, she did not realize the magnetude of her popularity, she often much to the displeasure of her Father, went to the malls by herself, if Yolanda said anything that was true, it was that Selena was very lonely, she did not have the time to make friends, her career and business took up most of her time, and I don't believe that her and Chris were about to divorce although we will never know for sure. To me, Selena was without doubt a true role model and great entertainer, I do admire her.
