That's pretty awesome, sgtlee. My Grandfather and Uncle both spent time in Okinawa when they were in the Marines, and I've heard a lot of stories. Thank you for serving this country, please be aware that there are many people like me who appreciate what you do for us.

Bruconero I have spent a little over 8 years of my 21 years overseas. And have been stationed at home (there is a military base near my hometown) for 3 years. I don't go home to much but when I move in May I am going home for at least three years.

You have such an awesome job. I don't know if I'd like to be home for so long but I guess if you've been in it for so long then its like a career choice for you. Do other officers know you Dungeons & Dragons?

That's good. I bet you are quite happy to have the chance to be stationed near home for some time. Probably you will not miss your Country so much (I heard that American military bases are like a small piece of the US abroad so you still have your food, news from your Country and can keep your habits almost unchanged) but being far from the family and the friends can be hard sometimes.

Play that is a good question not sure. There are a number that do. Alot of us play WoW, Skyrim, and other online Role Playing games. I used to play Dungeons & Dragons with a group but I move so much it is hard. Because of being a family man to three troublesome girls no real time for sitdown games like the old days.

Dude that's the cool thing about this site, no matter you location or time zone you can always meet up here to get in on the action. Its way better than in your face role-play gaming because you have to always put aside a lot of time for it and then there are some that cancel at the last minute. If you have their email you can like tell them about this place, we're looking for more FE skills so all the better. Just let them know about the rules so they don't get all flustered at the start.

Hey Major, cool that you decided to join in FE, just don't like burnout okay? Make sure to subscribe to all the threads for each game like camp, squad and where the game is updated. Some people like to use the favorite button too because you see all the threads your tracking in one glance. Just my tip to keep you in it and you don't disappear during critical times.
