Population Control Zealots Going Nuts Over 7 Billion People
United Nations bureaucrats, demonstrating their usual flair for ham-handed propaganda, have tagged October 31 as "The Day of Seven Billion." Apparently they want us to view the arrival of the seven billionth person on the planet with the same dread that medieval villagers felt for ghosts, witches and warlocks. We refuse. Ref. Source 3
I think the earth still has lots of room for everyone the problem is everyone wants to live ion specific areas and it makes it feel like if there isn't enough room.

I think there is plenty of room too, considering that the world is covered by like 75% water. If we could make like floating cities (on water), that would be pretty neat.
The problem I think in the end is going to be resources/greed. It is pretty obvious looking back in history that as the population increases a small percent of the overall population will seek to control food/water/air, and so forth.
Then the wars start and the planet gets messed up even more.
I like the idea of limiting people to how many kids they have though. I think some people are really irresponsible about having kids. They just keep running around popping them out even though they can't (and have no intention) of supporting them.

United Nations Engages in Major Population Control Debate
A major disagreement among demographic experts threatens to upend efforts to include population control and family planning programs in the United Nations new development agenda. Experts who view population growth as an obstacle to development are criticizing the "laissez-faire attitude" of developing countries toward population growth and high fertility. Yet other experts disagree, saying that population control and family planning are not essential to development strategies. Ref. Source 7
