My name is Marian [..] and I am with FSX Chicago. FSX Chicago started in 2014 with the integration of technology into the General Aviation - Flight School Curriculum. Our Flight Center in the middle of the city - is a very convenient innovation allowing more time to be used training rather than commuting to the local airports. Our team has top notch Certified Flight Instructors, Mechanics, Technology Specialists and Customer Support. Our services grew from Ground School and Flight Simulation to Aircraft ownership and Rental to Charter Jets and Ferry Services. While continuing to improve, FSX Chicago makes use now of Advanced Aviation Training Devices, Motion Simulators and even cutting edge technology like Oculus Rift...

Hi Fsxchicago! I'm sorry to say that your intro is borderline spam but it was allowed in this instance. I'm hoping that you joined to participate in the discussions and not just promote the school. Hope I'm not wrong on this one.
That's good Fsxchicago, are you based in Romania at this time, I notice you have a US flag?
Hello Marian. Nice to meet you!
I'm interested in learning about the differences in day-to-day life in Romania compared to the United States, and I hope you bring up several discussions about them.
I find your workplace to be very interesting as well. Without divulging workplace secrets, how are you using the Oculus Rift with your line of work? It all sounds very exciting!
Hello Omnusi!
We have been using DK2 - Oculus - for a while now! We have been testing VR for Flight Training. While very promising, we need another leap in this technology to actually make a difference. One huge obstacle is the video resolution. There are also side effects if using the headset for longer periods of time - like nausea. Promising but not there yet!
