DM note: This thread is for Kamdrogh players characters who have been received and passed. Here you will post your characters thoughts and actions.
Kamdrogh is best summed up as a fortified trade town. Merchants of every race come to do anything having to do with trade.
Though, Kamdrogh wouldn't be quite the town it is without it's prime location. Watching over a large river between two seas, one far to the north and one far to the south, it provides a welcome safe haven. To the west lie seldom traveled forests. Farther west still are mountains that few return from. To the east of Kam rests the Heartlands, where wave after wave of adventurer come.

Sitting up in his rock hard bed after a full nights rest, Zeverin lapses into his ritual meditations. He stands once he is done and looks out the window of the inn, and begins to ponder the seemingly inescapable truth: he is lost and his memories may never return.
"At least I know what I am. My faith has subverted my condition and I will hold to it. If I must walk this path of righteousness blind to all ties to the past, then so be it."
He dresses himself slowly, as he has everyday since arriving, closely examining each item in his possession as he does, hoping for a glimpse of the man he may have been. It's been over a month since he wandered into Kamdrogh from the east though, with nary a clue to guide him home. After he has finished gathering what little belongings he has, Zeverin sets off to embrace whatever fate may have in store.
"Farewell, innkeep. If the Gods are kind this is the last we will see of each other. I am thankful for your hospitality."
Zeverin exits the inn and stops just beyond the entrance. Looking left, then right, he wonders which direction may change the present course of his life.
Walking out of the Inn Zeverin enters into a clear day.
Looking to the left Zeverin sees an old man propped up against the Inn and a long road downhill with houses on each side. The old man perks up when he sees you.
To the right Zeverin sees a radiant marble temple. Cresting the top burns a small orb, like the sun.
The old man walks slowly over to him, "Got any coins to spare sir?"

"Do not let the armor fool you friend, hardly any wealth resides in these pockets of mine. But, I will give you half of what little I have so that the day may pass easier for you. Tell me though, do you possess any knowledge of the purpose of that temple?"
Zeverin pulls out one of the two silver pieces remaining to him, and casually manipulates the coin between the fingers of his left hand while he waits for the old man's answer.
"Yes, that is a temple to Pelor, god of the sun.", the old man eyes you and the coin.
"Those who seek his light come here to worship."
"A silver would be such a blessing to me. I'll be able to feed my daughter today.", he smiles happily at Zeverin.
"She hasn't eaten a proper meal in nearly a week, really you are so kind."

"I thank you for your knowledge and feel for the great suffering you and your daughter endure."
Zeverin handles the shiny silver coin in his left hand, weighing its worth. The coin reflects the light of the sun back into Zeverin's eyes and a compulsion takes hold. He reaches into his pocket with his right hand and grasps the lonely coin, his stomach grumbling in protest to what it knows it will bear without it.
"Yet, your knowledge is not worth the silver piece I intended to give."
A playful grin creeps onto his face as he pulls the second coin from his pocket.
"Take two, and feed yourself and your daughter tomorrow as well. Would that I could be of greater assistance. Take care old man. May the Gods of your faith extend kindness to you."
Zeverin hands over the coins, takes a last look at the old man to remember his face, and turns to head for the temple of Pelor.
The old man smiles even wider and humbly thanks you as he takes the coin.
You make way for the temple passing threw the small but vibrant garden surrounding it. The holy structure breathes a palatable sensation of safety and comfort. From outside the entrance you study its fine craftsmanship. The temple holds itself majestically apart from the surrounding area while still remaining a part of it.
You see two large doors marking the entrance to Pelor's temple. Just outside the doors are three kids around 10 years of age. Two are sitting on the steps talking while the other is wildly waving a stick about.
After travelling through the wild for months, Ziminar finally reaches the great city of Kamdrogh.
When he left the temple in Chendl, where he was raised, he set out into the world to become a tool of justice and to help those who are in need.
His mentor told him to go to Kamdrogh, his abilities would be of use there.
"Visit the temple of the Shining One", were the only words his mentor had spoken to him.
After he had spoken those words, his mentor turned and walked away. Ziminar had no doubt that he would never see him again
Finding the temple is an easy task, its radiance works like a magnet
Each step he takes towards the temples fills him with a sense of peace.
A very welcome feeling after his long travels.
