No need to double memorize, spell casting works similarly to the Sorcerer class (3.5 edition). As in, you will be able to cast 4 1st level spells per day, in any combination. Awesome, your character is almost ready. I'm on lunch break right now, I'll be back on this evening.

Forthan is approved, but I need you to pick one more spell.
Exactly, they're known spells. All spells are available. Unlike traditional Dungeons & Dragons systems, casting a spell does not erase it from your memory. It is assumed you only have enough magical energy to cast four first level spells per day, but you may cast any spell you know as long as you have the energy. You may cast Heal three times a row if you wish, then still have all your known spells available to cast for your fourth.
And your character is ready, Ill write out your introduction and get you in game after work.
I just want to let my players know that I'm moving in four days. As such, my schedule is very hectic. I am still trying to post as regularly as I can, but I don't have nearly as much time as I did even a few days ago. Everything should be back to pace in less than a week, however. General backstory:
Byron has always been a trouble child. He enjoys getting in people's way, causing mayhem, and generally getting on people's nerves. This is why he was sent away from home at the tender age of 11. He spent a few years wandering Kabandon, until he happened to try pickpocketing a master rogue. Now, this rogue would normally have stabbed a pickpocketer in the throat for such insolence, but he saw Byron's age and knew the situation Byron was going through, and decided to take him on as an apprentice. This went well, carrying Byron to about his 19th year, when he was kicked out of this role as well for being a troublemaker (yes, kicked out of a guild of troublemakers for being a troublemaker, that's how bad he is). Since then he has been wandering the city and countryside as a hand for hire, carrying out odd jobs that people either can't do themselves, or just don't want to.
I hope that is all the relevant information, if you need anything else, I'm happy to provide.
Question: Although rapiers are technically medium weapons, most of their stats correspond to light weapons. What will you consider this for your "Light weapons get two attacks, medium weapons get 1.5 attacks" rule?
