Oinodaemon's "Into The Darkness" 3.5 RPG Archive Pathfinder / D&D

If Byron is able to draw one of the defenders away from the group, and get him to sheathe his weapon in order to arrest Byron, he will attempt to surprise the guard by quickly drawing his dagger and aiming for the guard's chest. If no chance presents itself, he will try and reason with the guard, saying that he had only just been released from jail 20 minutes ago (Out of character: Insert however long it actually was here, I'm not really sure on how long the timespan was), and would have been unable to assist these people in any way. He didn't even know their names.

Out of Character: At which distance is Quasar, still up the window, from the two charging guards?

In Character: Initiative without any modifier: Natural 20 (and then, when I will need a roll like this I will start getting 5, 7 and so on... (laugh))

Out of Character: other question: the spells work in the same way as their official version? I mean: distance, area of effect, duration...

Out of Game: Not really, no. Assume line of sight for spell range. Most spell durations are 1d4 plus 1/2 bonuses. Almost every spell has been modified to fit my rule set.

Out of Character: Fine, but it would be useful to know how you modified them because I don't know how to use my spells. By the way, I'm waiting for Arathriel and Kevon to state what they will do and I will then decide if I change my last action (if they go through the door, I'll go down. Otherwise I'll fight from here).
