Although Arathriel knows his way around town, his sense of direction is confused due to the rain and the dash down the alley.
There is a wall, maybe eight feet tall, to the right of the party, Forthan notices. A large building is silhouetted behind it, but the rain makes everything fuzzy, so distances are hard to judge. Inspection reveals the wall to be made of rough stone.
Quasar examines the wall that seemingly encloses a large building. He will quickly look for openings in the wall that could maybe grant access to a front or back yard. If he will not find any, he will suggest to the group to move on and seek for shelter until the rain calms down.
Quasar finds no openings in the wall, and the group moves up the wooden ramp onto the street. Large buildings jammed side by side line the street as far as the group can see.
Forthan inspects the left side of the alley. The side of a building is visible, and it is similar to the last building inspected. There is a window like shutter over an opening in the side of the building. It is impossible to see anything inside, and the shutter is locked.
Out of Game: Arathriel, there is one defender in the cart where the party left him, as far as you can tell the only people nearby are your group. The rain is very loud, however, and visibility is greatly reduced.
Quasar, soaked and starting to feel cold shivers run on his back, follows Forthan hoping that the healer will manage to find a safe place where to wait for the rain to stop. He will try to have a quick look at the other buildings, trying to understand which one is a private house and which might be a store or a tavern.
