"So we should move", decides Quasar. He puts his backpack on, compliments once again the Sage for the amazing display of objects he has in his adobe, and waits for the others by the door, ready to leave.
Once outside he will plan with Forthan their next moves. "Maybe better if you talk to the locals", suggests the magician, "You are a Cleric and your word has more weight. I will accompany you but I think you should appear as the leader of this expedition".
Forthan will agree that we need to get back on the road and start heading for Eyeir. With that village being our next destination we need to head there and then continue to make our way towards the lyons den. "Yes I will act as the party leader to help converse with the town folk", Forthan says.
The party stands about talking for a moment, sunlight filtering through the trees. Tiny butterflies dance on the petals of the wild flowers growing throughout the grove. It is in general a very peaceful scene. The elk Quasar noticed previously stands at the edge of the clearing, looking away from the party.
Quasar casts a last gaze on the shack and treks to the south, ready for the adventure to come. He will follow Forthan along the road and back to their starting point. From there, if no sign or other indication will be visible, he will ask for directions to whomever they will cross on the road.
The elk turns its head towards the party. Dark red stains the white patch of fur on the front of its chest, and blood drips steadily from its lips. A mass of flesh lies at its feet, clothing tattered and torn. It kicks the dirt for a second, then lowers its head and charges at Forthan.
The elk hits Forthan solidly in the chest, goring him slightly and possibly cracking a rib. Luckily, Forthan does not fall and instead is able to roll out of the way of further injury.
Forthan - 8 HP remaining, bleeding, broken rib.
Forthan groans in pain as he comes up holding his mace. HE will swing at the elk if it is not leaving.
