Quasar will order the viper to have a look at the surroundings for other creatures or people hiding in the woods. Will keep the snake patrolling around until is dispelled.

Forthan successfully corrects Arathriels arm, and Byron's breathing becomes regular. Forthan notes that a large dent remains in Byrons skull even after the healing. Forthans wounds close up effectively.
The party immediately notices it has fallen completely silent except for the rustling of grass in the slight breeze. There are no birds chirping or insects buzzing. Quasars summoned viper does not see any other animals.
The bloody mass lies where the Elk left it. It almost looks like a pile of filthy rags, discarded in a heap.

Forthans healing repairs the dent in Byrons head, and his eyes open slowly.
He looks about in a confused manner, then puts a hand to his head. His eyes have a glazed, vacant look.
(Byron has suffered severe brain damage, and Heal level 1 is not powerful enough to cure that.)
