The Game Master says... Unwilling to make any sudden actions you decide to wait there while the tribesmen approach. A look of surprise on finding you can be readily seen on their faces but their demeanor becomes friendly as they seem to smile at your unusual positions next to the tree. They stop and one of the leading tribesmen smiles and says something in a language you cannot understand. The others laugh lightly at what he says.

The Game Master says... With your translators on you speak while gesturing that you are studying the insects of the jungle. The tribesmen laugh and basically explain that they thought you were looking for something to eat. They show you their catch from forest and ask if you will like to partake with them in their village further North of your current location. From what you can see it will be just in line with where you need to go.

The Game Master says... You follow your new 'friends' as they carefully go through the jungle ahead. You make sure to let base know what you are doing and they confirm / approve it.
Although the tribesmen cut the vines and bushes in front of them with some anticipation it does seem like they are very aware of everything in the area. They point to certain places that have snakes or where you can easily fall and so forth. It makes you wish that you had these men as guides earlier.
After what seems to be quite a bit of walking you stop by a small spring for water. The men take turns holding the animal they caught and drink at the stream. They beckon you to try the water.

The Game Master says... Major drinks while Uhura watches on. Major finds the water refreshing. After what seems to be a tiring journey you begin to see the village of the tribesmen. It is fairly busy with women and children busy doing the chores of the day. The village itself is built upon an ancient temple ruin made from stone but the huts of the people are largely made of straw and mud.
One of the children spots your group and yells to the others and now the whole village is aware of your presence. Villagers run up looking at the catch of the men and seem less interested in you. They tell of their delight in the feast they will have later. One of the more senior tribesmen of the village comes to you as the rest of the village follows dinner to the center fire.
"Welcome to our village, what is your purpose here?" The man asks.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.

The Game Master says... The old man carefully looks over your faces as though trying to tell if you are truthful or not. He then shakes his head as though he believes you and you silently breathe a sigh of relief. He then calls one of the nearby women of the village. He says something to her and then she bids that you follow her.
GM: Say what you she to do now.

The Game Master says... She says she is taking you to your own 'camp' which by translation refers to the place you will stay temporary while at the village. You are brought to an open hut with no walls. You are shown some straw mats where you are asked to sit. A bowl of what looks like provisions are set before you. It smells very earthy.
In all this time...
Uhura is trying to check out the village more thoroughly. She can see they are very family structured and well organized despite their primitive appearance. Although some of the younger men carry blades and bows the overall demeanor of the place does not appear to be war-like.

The Game Master says... Uhura takes the time to observe the village even more.
The people are taking the animal caught by the hunters and tying it by rope to roast above the central camp fire.
In other parts of the village senior women are stirring the contents of medium sized pots with something being cooked.
Some of the women are adoring themselves with pretty colors made from feathers and beads.
The woman who brought you to where you are now returns with ornaments for Uhura to wear. She explains it is a custom and bids Uhura to put them on.
"Soon we will eat." She says.

The Game Master says... As Uhura uses technology to analyze the components of the decorations she is surprised to find that one of the components is a subtle aphrodisiac among the other natural items making up the body decorations!
