Gault is literally beside himself with concern, so much so that he is glad that he has no family or anyone to return home to.
Not being much of a scientist, Gault decided to be adventurous and see what happens when the paste hit his tongue and he swallowed. Of course he oped he didn't die but hoped that the effects would not be permanent.
