Out of Character: It won't just be our skills but how we use them. Pretending to be 'expert' in something that you aren't in real life can be complicated.
In Character: Looking at Lars, "You in this right?"
She then waves him closer. "What's the legal implications of fighting guerrillas in the middle of the amazon?"
She grins at the thought.
Out of Character: We'll need weapons with no bang and technology with no beeps if you like get what I'm saying. I bet our characters will look different to the native population as well so we'll like so stand out.
Yeah weapons are a must to make it to the first camp site. I think it will be interesting to see just what else is in store for us. The main thing I am wanting to know is who is the main friendlies to the tribe that we are heading to.
Out of Character: Probably we can have weapons up to sector C4 and then ditch them before we hit sector A but I don't know yet still like waiting on what else JB is going to put.
Lars responds to Uhura's question, "I'm not sure. I imagine this military orginization knows, though. I would also imagine it's part of why we're being sent, rather than a simple bombing run or clearance team."
Out of Character: Money is good, information is good, and yet I feel like this is going to be one long rough ride into hell even though its just supposed to be about info gathering. We need to be exact and together with our actions. It can't be that each squad member is just doing their own thing. From the estimates we will be traveling about 60-80 miles with probably 2/3 of that being on foot.
In Character: Uhura is taken aback from the big difference between this mission and her former one. The arctic was cold and isolated, this one is hot and very open. She follows the man to Inventory while thinking about what she needs.
Lars follows the rest of the group to Inventory, feeling much more enlightened about this task. It will be difficult surely, but his Survival training gives him confidence.
