Not phased in the least by Artemis's prolific speach, Gault takes a deep breath, exhales and moves on. He helps pack up and continues helping to secure the gear. Putting out the fire, he smothers it with wet top soil. Once the ground has cooled, he gathers up some branches and leaves and randomly them on the ground as if they had blown from trees over head and fallen there.
He then carefully, moves to the nearest tree root and begins walking in the direction that Seth pointed.
Artemis sighs, shoulders her backpack, and follows. "I thought he was depressed, I tried to help" She says under her breath. "I'll just take rear guard then, I guess." She rolls her eyes. "Nobody cares, Artie."
She walks quietly after that, frequently checking her six. Looking left, looking right, looking for Charlie, looking for a fight.
Out of Character: I changed Major's avatar for Gault's sake. I just realized there aren't as many selections for male as there are for female, also saw a couple of Dungeons & Dragons avatars there too. Will let JB know.
In Character: Major starts to plan combat maneuvers in his head as he looks at how nimble the natives can be as they dance.
Seth leads the way heading towards sector 4. He will use his cutlass to cut some bush and other undergrowth to make the trek easier. He will also look for signs of someone passing this way before.
"I do hoe we find a trail or something to make this easier."
"Cheer up, McKenzie", she says softly to herself as she watches Gault's back. "Nobody likes you when you're sad." To cheer herself up, she whisper-sings her marching song:
"Who are the Celts? We are the Celts.
We're singing loud, singing 'cause we're proud"
Yeah, it's not a very good song. She gets bored with that pretty quick, and focuses on listening for anybody trying to sneak up on the group. Also, she's keeping her eyes open, alert for any signs of trouble.
In Character: After sharing observations Uhura turns to major and says, "That poison thing is going to be something to think about. While we could take a lot of these natives out its not our mission in fact we're not supposed to even upset anything here. Even so it will take just one hit on their part and we might be gone for good."
