Out of Character: Its a tough call. Seems we both got screwed up pretty bad.I am thinking we should find a spot to rest. Take shifts and make sure everyone is well rested and fed. Then coordinate with the locals for information and some equipment to protect ourselves.
Out of Character: : I don't know, with the noises the the game master is making, I'm afraid if we rest, he'll just throw another nuisance encounter at us (We've had ants, spiders, what's next, mosquitoes?)
I just can't figure out what he wants. I feel like he just spent a week jerking our chains, and now he's complaining that the game is moving too slow.
"I'm really starting to regret not burning this stupid village to the ground."
Out of Character: :
Okay, that comment, I admit, was completely over the top. Instead of venting, I should be finding ways to adapt to the game master's style. And that's what I'm going to do.
Out of Character: Just think my skill set is all wrong for this. My strengths are in talking and communicating and so far neither has proven of any use. I might have served the mission better if I had died, then you could have moved on.
Out of Character: You wanted to burn it down before see and I did mention what the mission was about. But hey Ken, don't make it sound like a chore you've got to do, if you want some tips just let me know and I can give you some pointers so its fun. That's why we have this thread in the first place to brainstorm ideas.
