Specific Action: Lars follows Seth. He says nothing to Security, instead walking close to Seth and talking about camera editing techniques. He nods at Security in a friendly way. He will present himself as the "Editor" if questioned. He is here because his crew decided this would be a good place to do a documentary, and it's his job to piece together all the different shots, determining which angle fits best, syncing up the cameras and the music, and any other little things that may need correcting or tweaking.
Out of Character: If there is a 'trick' to this I'd say that how we describe ourselves has to match or attire. Like the jumpsuit for instance, its not likely someone 'big' in the film business will have that on. I don't know, this is all speculation.
Out of Character: Too late, Fair. Now is not possible anymore to equip with a jumpsuit those that have a camera and with different clothes those that don't. Guys, let's make sure that who has a camera declares that he will use it: until now, everybody except me have a role not directly connected to film-making. Is like wanting to build a house with one worker and six architects...
Out of Character: Why should everything be based on equipment though? Its not like they are searching equipment, they're just checking IDs, for all you know we might be panicking over nothing.
Out of Character: Play, since we are deciding how to organize the group I think we should do it once and for all. Maybe in this situation any story will fit but in other occasions we might need to pretend we are actually doing the job and we should make it in an acceptable way.
Out of Character:: okay try to base the roles on your character type less likely to make a mistake. I don't make movies but as a merchant and trader a assistant director seems right. That's the guy with no power that gets everything for the real director. But I am open for anything.
Out of Character: I'm willing to take whatever role, I don't really care. The tricorder is a really efficient tool, I take it, so it would seem to me that we don't need too many actual cameramen. I feel that an editor would be necessary, if not in the field, but what the hell, Lars the Film Editor is not one to stay in a stuffy office while his crew goes haring off to exotic locales! Again though, I am willing to change my role based on the groups consensus.
