In Character: Uhura squints her eyes, she can hardly believe that Thomas is still out there.
"What's he doing she asks rhetorically nervously wondering if she needs to get off the bus and get to him fast."
Out of Character: Bruconero is right about waiting but I think we're all anxious to get on with it. We're like a bunch of Japanese tourists stopping to analyze everything (no offense by that example to the Japanese intended). Maybe Thomas should just come on the bus and one of us can simply buy him a ticket.
About Aose, I'm not surprised. I've seen it happen before. Its not JB's responsibility to cater for our personal lives, he's just running a game in fact he's running many of them so probably to him having to worry over what a character is doing that he isn't in charge of is a extra task he doesn't need. I don't know if Aose can probably rejoin the game when he does get back online but that will be a matter for him and JB.
Out of Character: Anybody speaks Portuguese between us? Nathan definitely not. If somebody can, we could just ask the driver to wait 5 minutes so Thomas will be sure to do everything and get on board.
About Shane, I still keep my opinion. Rules are rules, but we adapt them in real life to meet particular cases so I believe it could be done in a game as well. Anyway, is his game and he has the right to do whatever he wants (honestly, not sarcastic: when in his own house, every man is a king).
Specific Action: Get to the driver and tap his shoulder, then point to Thomas outside and show an open hand slowly moving back and forth in the international sign for "Wait". A 50 Real note slipping on the man hand should be enough to make him go through the language barrier.
Out of Character: Actions added, I don't want that overnight the timer turns into 2+ days so I did it now.
Out of Character: This is where it gets nasty.
In Character: Major looks around frantically trying to find out what is going on. He ducks as low as he can in his seat and tries not to move.
Specific Action: Stay still and not move but keep an eye out for what is going on.
In Character: Nathan doesn't move. He waits to see what happens, putting a hand on the hilt of his cutlass.
Specific Action: Remain sit preparing the cutlass but keeping it hidden behind the back of the seat in front of him.
Specific Action: Lars keeps his head down, remembering the native from the groups vision. He draws his survival knife, but keeps it low and hidden.
In Character: Uhura's heart begins to pump frantically. She immediately starts to wonder why she accepted this mission without her most basic equipment. She clutches to the seat in front of her hoping they are not actually going to kidnap anyone.
