I usually do that in character to let everyone know what Uhura is doing, thinking or feeling. I even drop hints to other characters. Since you mention that, I don't see much role play mostly I see out of character comments and just actions and then nothing from certain players til the next action needs to be in.
Out of Character: You are right on that. The group seems more compact in World of Medieval than here. Maybe is only a matter of time. I'm the first one making that mistake and I will try to correct myself in the next posts. By the way, looks like you forgot your action in the Squad Order post.
Out of Character: Hey now, when I post my actions I usually put my in character stuff too. I only go out of character if I think we need to discuss something more.
Out of Character: Yup, Play, you are one of the few people doing that. I'm lacking mainly because Nathan is a quiet man with no interest in human interaction.
Short side-story that will interest nobody except me but that I will tell anyway: Nathan is inspired to a real person that I met something like ten years ago when working for a small local tv in my town. He was a technician. A huge man full of hairs everywhere and with no social skill. When somebody talked to him, he would just answer "hmphh". He was so annoying that I stopped using his name and just called him Big Bear which made him hate me deeply. He was like a caveman but, talking about skills, Mc Gyver would have had something to learn from him: amazing.
Out of Character: Bruconer, what flies your fancy dude. You would have done well with Love & Life Bytes RPG. We used to like make up characters in all sort of situations with some of the things you mentioned.
In Character: Major think to himself, that kid better get out here fast or there will be gun fire sounding off pretty soon.
In Character: While the Guerrilleros search him thoroughly, Nathan looks to the left and right to check what's going on with the rest of the group. Something is not right, but he doesn't realize at first what's going amiss. Suddenly he stops: "The big guy!", he remembers. "Where is Thomas?".
Specific Action: Seth gets back on the bus and sits back where he was before all of the passengers were forced off.
In Character: Seth is not happy to see them beating up on the woman but he is not going to put himself or any of the others at risk by saying anything to thugs.
Out of Character: JB knows how to test our wits. This would probably make Major boil.
In Character: Major is getting angry. He visualizes breaking the back of the guerrilla that is messing with the pregnant woman. He looks at the other hoping they give some kind of solution for this because just leaving it like this would make him feel guilty.
