Out of Character: Couple of gun shots in the air should scare them but they will be heard by anybody in a few kilometers radius if this area is so quiet as it seems to be. Rather than shooting I would go away. Moreover shooting at small monkeys is like shooting at rabbits: you only get them if they are still.
In Character: Looking at those who escaped with Major he says, "What the heck did Seth stay back there for?" He shouts out "Seth?!"
Out of Character: Dudes, we need to decide which path we are taking. I doubt the monkeys heard my gun shots and just ran from their territory.
In Character: "No way we can pass through that jungle", says Nathan stopping his run. "I would try the swamp: as dangerous as everywhere else here but at least we should have a good visibility".
Out of Character: (laugh), nice from you Play trying to put actions for my character. To be honest, I didn't even noticed it when I read your post the first time.
In Character: Uhura looks seriously all around making sure she is out of danger. She then tells the group, "There is no way I'm risking going through there."
Out of Character: If they know about the monkeys then its either they came from the same place we met them or they know more than they're saying.
Out of Character: Yes, or this is another trick like the native warrior on the plane. But, if we think about it, the trails ends there and people used to come here probably saw the monkeys several times.
