This is Biotech Engineer, over...Out of Character: I doubt this is an illusion of our minds. From what I get about this area its meant to be for tourists and not necessarily a way to get to C3. So what we did was probably saw the monkey tourist attraction and started shooting and running like mad people. Kind of funny when you think about it.

Out of Character: Better the swamp than the jungle in my opinion. Too many invisible dangers in the jungle (Snakes, spiders...). The swamp only has mobile sands (Is that the name?) but you can spot danger from far away.

Out of Character: True. I didn't say they are safe. But swamp snakes are usually bigger and more visible and few of them are poisonous. In the jungle they are poisonous and, like spiders, they hide in the undergrowth or fall from trees. Scary. Piranhas are an issue only if we have to cross water: in that case we can backtrack like we are doing now.
