Out of Character: Ya, jumping is also an option. My problem is that I don't immediately realize how tall or long are things when measured in feet. I can make the conversion but is not the same. I don't have that immediate understanding that you guys have.
In Character: "I can try to leap over it", says Nathan while watching Major climb the tree. "Anybody has rope?".
Out of Character: Bruconero, if you convert it then you will have an idea how can you not? Its not like 15 feet becomes something different when you convert it.
Out of Character: yes. What I was trying to say is that I don't get that immediate grasp of the real dimensions. Example: I'm 179 cm. Am I tall or short? To answer, you need to make the conversion first but using a converter because if not you will lose the small numbers and only have an approximate idea. The result is that, if you read a post in which I state that a 180cm man is approaching you, while reading you will not get the immediate feeling about him being tall or short. To get that feeling, you have to first convert centimeters into feet which, mainly out of lazyness, you will not always do right away.
Out of Character: For all the lazy people out there the size of it is: 3.048m x 4.572m.
In Character: Too ashamed to relay her idea she is excited about what Major has just found. She radios Seth about it.
Out of Character: (laugh). Thank you, Fair, very kind of you. Honestly, I already did that after you suggested to jump over it because I thought it could be a good idea.
In Character: Nathan listens to Major findings and asks: "So, do you think is possible to pass to the other side? Should we use a rope to secure us, just for avoiding risks? This way, if somebody falls into the quicksands, we can lift him".
In Character: Major looks at Nathan in a weird way, "You're joking right? Who has rope? Better use the comm and tell Seth to bring some."
Out of Character: We're so lame, not even rope....
