This is Slasher, over... In Character: Major looks over at Uhura with a confused expression wondering who it could be. He whispers through the comm,
"This could be either friendlies or the fierce natives but we're aren't supposed to engage them. Should we just stay still or make a run for it?"
Major knows at this point running will give them away because whomever it is will here the noise of the bushes.
