"Oh you blush? I thought for a second you were hard as nails and made out of concrete."
She puts a coy smile.
Punting a squeamish face he looks at Uhura in a strange manner,
"Who me? Blush? Nah, you're probably seeing my red tan from all the sun in this place."
He lifts up one of his forearms and points to it with his other hand.
"See, look how red that is... The sun here kills."
"You're not fooling anyone with that, I know the difference between sun tanned skin and a flush of blood in a blush. Just because we're high tech doesn't mean we aren't human."
Uhura pats him on the back in a pitiful way.
"Ok, ok, so you've made your point but it isn't that way - really, it isn't."
Major shakes off her patronizing pat on the back.
While Rasputin was exploring the jungle, a bunch of armed natives leaped from the trees and ambushed him. As he was outnumbered and they weren't trying to kill him at the moment, he let them lead him into the village.
Rasputin grinned when the armed natives led him to a pair of what seemed to be normal people. "Aha! Civilized folk." He approached and sat next to the lady. "Has either of you determined whether or not we're prisoners or guests yet? We all still have our gear. However, I can't help but notice the armed guards."
In Character: Amazed to see another present day person Major gets excited. He whispers to Uhura,
"Maybe they sent help."
But when the man appeared to be alone Major lost hope. He answers the stranger anyway,
"I can't say yet, we're still trying to figure that out. I'm Major and this is Uhura, were you sent for us?"
Out of Character: Cool to see you here but that only makes 3 of us. We will have to wait for more before moving on unless Felipe and Kntoran decide to come back.
"Major?" Rasputin tilted his head as he gave the man a confused look. "Major what?" Normally when officers introduced themselves by rank, they usually followed-up with a name of some sort.
Out of Character: That's fine. It will give me time to read up on the scenario.
