In Character: Major laughs out, "Good one, but salt will not do it, they will need at last whole pack of sugar."
He then cools himself down since he does not know his own future and the same might end up happening to him, whatever that is....
Uhura, on a more serious note, "Its strange that we encounter these strange individuals from time to time, it makes you wonder if we are not still at the base hooked up to the machine and where just being thrown random encounters to see how we'll react?"
"Yeah, 'strange' is a good word for it but they're more like wannabe mercenaries, who hired these guys anyways?"
She repeats what Major said... "Who hired them? We don't know if they're even hired. This might be all part of our mind introducing new characters to us when really we're still sitting in a lab room like experimental rats in the base.
"Now you're being very technical and mind boggling, at least that is mind boggling to think about. I hope I'm not in some lad back at the base."
"Hasn't this mission been very weird from the start for you? How do we even know what's real and what's not?"
"Yes of course it has but I expect to see the natives and the others we encountered but when these strange people dressed as mercenaries come into the picture its then I get worried."
In Character: Major reflected on what they just talked about and wondered what he could do to help his situation. For a brief second he thought about simply walking out of the village but with all the surrounding jungle he knew that wouldn't be such a good idea.
