Hello there, I am a gamer who loves role-playing games. Recently, I wanted to play some text role-playing games, specifically something like Dungeons & Dragons. I've never played it before, so I wanted to try it out online. I found this site, and I decided to try it out and join the community. I'm usually on at around 3 - 9 pm US eastern time. I hope to be able to interact with other members of the community, and I am excited to join the site.

Hi Unlimita! Thanks for making a great introduction. Your time zone is fine, there are players from all over the world that log in at various times and are still able to play in a timely manner. If you have any questions about finding something or using the site's features then please do ask here and someone will answer.
Greetings!
Indeed I am excepting new players and I have a fist time player already in my group. I have 3 openings in my game right now if you wish to take a look at my games settings thread, feel free to ask any questions in my character approval thread.
I try to help teach the game as much as I run it. So, if you want to join my game I have no problem handling players that do not know the ins and outs of the complexity that is Dungeons & Dragons. I am using the 3.5 rules. And players start at level 3. This is still a rather low level, so a good place to start if you have not played before.
My game is very role play centered, it has investigation, you have to follow clues, salve some puzzles and get past traps, and yes there will be some light combat thrown in.
