Assassin thinks to do something about their escape, he runs up to the truck which causes the dogs to bark but they are tied so they cannot attack him. Assassin aims to throw stars at the pickup while it is about to move off quickly.

GM: I need a D100 roll for Assassin.

While this is happening the rest of you are in the process of your actions but Krusten and Felipe can hear the frantic barking of the dogs causing them to wonder how Assassin is doing.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

Assassin manages to stick his stars into the tires but they do not let out sufficient air and the pickup moves off, however after about 300 feet you can see it has stopped. The men come outside looking at their back tires. One spots you and points in your direction, he is getting ready to shoot!

Meanwhile...

Krusten feels the need to rejoin Assassin and speeds towards his location, she can see the men are getting ready to shoot at him.

Around this time...

Shifter is still in the process of getting back to you.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

Krusten leaps at Assassin while Assassin is also in the process of going to the ground.

GM: I need 2 D100 rolls for Krusten and Assassin.

Felipe continues to wait as Shifter is still in the process of trying to get back to your location.

Assassin dives just as Krusten also barely touches him also diving in the process. You both make it to the ground safely as bullets pass overhead. Deciding it will not be safe to stay there you both make a dash for some nearby trees and equally make it safe there. The men are visually angry as they hit their truck out of frustration and begin running into the woods as their dogs, still tied to the truck, continue to bark desperately.

Felipe, who hears all the gun fire, pulls out his phone just as he sees Shifter coming up the road to meet him.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

Felipe hops into Shifter's car as soon as he arrives. Shifter's car screeches as you hurriedly make it to the home of the men and where the van with flat tires now sits. Both of you start looking around to assess the situation. Felipe spots Assassin hiding behind a tree ahead as he beckons you over and he tells you about what has happened.

Meanwhile...

Krusten uses her speed running from tree to tree trying to follow the trail of the men who are still heading into the woods with some sacks. They keep looking back but she is unsure whether they know she is trailing them.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

Assassin and Felipe catch up with Krusten in some woods. Krusten points the way the men are heading. Shifter can also see them going through open plains while looking back at the woods to see if anyone is trailing them. They seem to be heading towards a highway that is about a half a mile from their current location.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

Shifter flies back to the home of the escaping men. He calls the police to let them know of the location of the men, the house and the reason for his call. He is told that patrols will pick up on what he says within five minutes.

Shifter then searches the home but it seems rather typical, nothing to indicate these men are robbers. After awhile you can hear the police in the distance.

Meanwhile...

The others give up their chase and watch the men disappear towards the highway.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

Shifter continues his search by now checking the vehicles. The one near the house, the van, seems to not show anything revealing, but then again you are not a CSI expert. You move on to the pickup truck that Assassin stopped with his stars. You are happy to find that their masks are still on the seat. The dogs at the back are still tied and yapping away at your presence.

Meanwhile...

The others return to where Shifter is and start looking around. You can still hear the police in the distance.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.
