You each spread out to search the area. After a good 30-40 minutes of looking around you discover something odd. There are some shovels on the ground near the house with fresh dirt on them like they have recently been used within the past 24 hours. Pieces of dirt fade away towards the woods at the back of the house but when you go towards what you think might reveal recently excavated earth you find nothing.

Shifter removes the police tape and enters the house easily. He makes his way to the basement where he finds a room full of all kinds of things, some can be considered junk while others were probably kept for sentimental value. It will take at least a couple of hours to go through it all.
Meanwhile...
The rest of you begin feeling around the dirt and Assassin with a shovel comes across something that is not natural to the area by the sound it makes. He begins clearing the leaves and sure enough there is a trap door there, but it is locked with an older model padlock (Not so easily picked).

You attempt to force open the lock with whatever handy you can find.
Meanwhile...
Shifter is at a lost where to start and just stands there unaware of the others most recent find.
GM: Each person that tries to open the lock should roll a D100 vs Strength. Say what you wish to do now.
Krusten is the first to break the padlock open. You open the door and it reveals a ladder going down. The design is similar to a storm shelter although you do not see any vents. Assassin goes down and looks around, finally his super ability to see in the dark is paying off. At within the underground room you find many sacks and some of them still contain money. You roughly estimate that there must be about $500,000 there that the Robbers did not have time to take because of your abrupt entrance onto their property.

Everyone in the group is now in the know about the Robber's stash. You gather the money into one bag, replace the trap door, cover it with dirt, leaves and debris and then decide your next move.

While Shifter hides his car the rest of you ponder simply waiting for the robbers to come back for the money.
GM: Say what you wish to do now but be a little more specific with your actions please, for instance how long you will wait, where you will wait, etc.
Shifter and Felipe make preparations in the barn to keep a watch of where the trap door is located. From there they can get a good layout of the area but if someone were to come there at night they would not be able to see them.

The others stand around not sure what to do.

While Shifter, Felipe and Krusten keep watch and search the barn you hear a yell of pain from Assassin in the woods near the location of trap door.
You all rush over to see what has happened with Krusten using her super speed to get there first. It seems that Assassin set off a trap that was not seen before and a small jaw trap caught one of his legs. He sits in pain with the rusty iron clamp around his foot.
