There is an immediate gruff response,

"Friend? What friend?"

You hear a voice shouting as though speaking to whomever is inside the room,

"Whomever is there come up real slow like... With your hands behind your head. And you better do it quickly because your pals' lives depend on it."

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

As Assassin comes up he is able to see two robbers with masks pointing shotguns towards his friends. He is surprised by all of this and is further shocked when he sees Krusten and Felipe make a dash for it.

Meanwhile...

Shifter starts to itch badly as bugs from the ground enter his clothing. This makes the robbers fidgety as they shout not to move.

GM: I need D100 rolls from everyone vs Speed to see if you make it passed their gun fire. Say what you wish to do now.

Felipe tries to get up an run and is shot.

Shifter is shot before he could do anything.

GM: Shifter and Felipe need to -50 to Strength / Speed

Assassin avoids gun fire and in turn sends his stars into the two robbers he can clearly see in the dark. They cry with pain as they try to figure out what is happening.

Krusten uses her speed and escapes to the barn where she returns with a farm tool to hit one of the men just as they have have been targets of stars by Assassin. He falls to the ground.

The other man starts to limp away into the woods. Assassin can see him heading back towards the plain fields that leads towards the highway.

GM: Felipe and Shifter are very slow to do anything much right now. Say what you wish to do.

Assassin seems dumbfounded by all the sudden action as Krusten sits on a robber and he says "Oww!" Loudly.

Shifter checks his wounds, he will need to get himself bandaged up but he can hardly see anything in the dark.

Meanwhile...

Felipe attempts to follow the robber while wounded and in the dark.

GM: Roll a D100 against Felipe's current speed. Say what you wish to do now.

Felipe, despite being almost hit by the robber's shots, decides to continue to follow him in the dark while declaring he should stop. Krusten quickly comes up on Felipe's side and though she is fast she does not have night vision nor a light so she does not know where she is going.

GM: Krusten and Felipe - Roll a D100 again against speed.

Meanwhile...

Assassin listens on his scanner but he does not hear any reported activity. The area you are in is more or less isolated and it is likely people will not be aware about gun shots or even care. Assassin then helps Shifter who seems to be rather weak.

GM: -5 to Speed and Strength of Shifter. Say what you wish to do now.

As a result of Felipe continuing to pursue the Robber with shotgun in the dark he is struck by a spray of bullets and falls back - dead.

GM: Felipe is out of the game.

Krusten is more fortunate and hides behind a tree.

Meanwhile...

Using his night vision, Assassin follows the robber and is able to easily throw stars at him bringing him to his knees quickly. He fires off more shots until you believe he has no more slugs to shoot. He grunts with pain as Assassin can see him clearly.

At this time...

Shifter simply stays with the captured Robber.

GM: You will need a new Super hero Leader. Say what you wish to do now.

Assassin and Krusten close in on the wounded robber. He quickly gives himself up even before you threaten him. He is perplexed by each of you and begs for his life saying,

"Take it all, we don't want it, just let us go!"

You keep him at bay.

Meanwhile...

Shifter awaits your return as he bleeds.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

After getting the robbers to the barn, Assassin looks around the year using his night vision but sees nothing unusual save for Felipe's body still in the woods and getting cold.

Shifter starts to question the robbers after binding wounds. The robbers claim to be working on their own and not part of any gang. Around then Krusten starts to chant about calling the police and the robbers plea that they can pay you handsomely if you just let them go.

GM: Sorry for the delay. Say what you wish to do now.
