Georgia Hostage Firefighters Holds Gunman
A gunman is holding several Gwinnett County, Georgia, firefighters hostage, a police spokesman said.
The hostage situation occurred after the firefighters responded to a medical call at a residence in suburban Atlanta, said police spokesman Ed Ritter.
Five firefighters were initially being held, but one of them was released, a fire department spokesman said. Ref. CNN

The man who held four firefighters hostage at a home in an Atlanta suburb is dead, police said. One officer suffered a gunshot wound that was not life threatening, and firefighters had superficial injuries from an explosion used to distract the suspect, Gwinnett County police spokesman Ed Ritter said.
