The head of the Colorado Department of Corrections has been shot and killed at his home, and authorities say the gunman is on the loose. Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Kramer says Tom Clements was shot to death around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night when he answered his front door in Monument. Ref. USAToday

Bomb Maker
Documents made public Tuesday show that authorities found in Evan Ebel's car bomb-making materials, bloody clothes, documents from the Department of Corrections, maps and handwritten directions. Also found were parts of the uniform of a Domino's pizza hut worker, zip ties and duct tape. Ebel was killed in a shootout with Texas authorities last week. Authorities in Decatur sent the items to Colorado agencies investigating the death of corrections chief Tom Clements and the slaying of a pizza deliveryman whose body was found two days before Clements was killed. El Paso County sheriff's Lt. Jeff Kramer said deputies are seeking 47-year-old James Lohr and 31-year-old Thomas Guolee in connection with the shooting death of Colo. Prisons chief Tom Clements. Kramer said the men could be headed to Nevada or Texas. Ref. CNN
