I find that people who lack empathy tend to do these things on a regular basis, wether they be well-educated or not. However, if you think this is bad you should look at the thread with similar name in the Heinous Crimes Board.

This is plain disgusting, poor little kittens! I am glad they are safe now but how many more are being abused as I write this?

About 30 animal lovers rushed to a parking lot in Shanghai after reading an Internet posting sparked by animal rights activist Huo Puyang that said two trucks carrying cats in wooden boxes had been intercepted, Huo said on Monday.
Huo's daughter-in-law had been looking for their missing pets and stumbled into the trucks, one of which sped away. The daughter-in-law called Huo, whose animal-loving friends then sent out an Internet alert last Friday.
The felines were on their way to the booming southern province of Guangdong, where some residents pride themselves as gourmets who will eat anything that flies, crawls or swims.
"It was a cruel sight ... Pregnant cats and kittens were packed into the boxes," Huo told Reuters.
"Many cats had died and smelled," She said. "Some were trampled to death. Others bit each other."
Huo also telephoned police, who took the driver and the truck to a police station.
Police said Huo had lacked evidence to prove the 42 boxes held stolen pets and told the animal lovers to buy the cats.
The driver demanded 14 yuan each.
After hours of haggling, the animal lovers paid more than 10,000 yuan ($1,300) for 840 cats....

I think that some kids are just plain cruel. This boy chose to bathe his puppy in the toilet! That's right not in the bathtub but the toilet! He flushed the poor pup and then told his mother about it. I think the puppy should be removed from the home! I cannot believe this boy's parents were not supervising their son with bathing the puppy! Well at least there is a happy ending to this tragic tale: the puppy survived! Page 2 Animals Cruelty
I am 59 years of age and have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals in my life including Animal rescue for 3 years by myself , and saved lots of abandoned kittens from new borns to 5 weeks of age. Raised them until 8 weeks old then found good homes for them. I have 2 dogs and 7 cats left as well as 5 hens.
I also feed heaps of doves and pigeons in my front lawn everyday and costs me lots of money as I feed them wild bird seed and budgie mix and I only wish people would stop feeding them bread as it is not good for their health and will eventually kill them. I know they mean well but they need to study more on health of birds and what to feed them. I have a ring-necked turtle dove male who sits on my lap and hand he is so cute and we talk to each other. I wish that their was no cruelty to animals as it breaks my heart when I hear of animal abuse. I support the RSPCA 100% and when I die hope to leave a small donation to them.

Animals Cruelty
Its one thing I just can't get my head around - cruelty to animals. There was a case over here a few months back of a cat which had had packaging tape wrapped around it. It had to undergo surgery to remove it. It will always be traumatised. Picking on a defenseless animal is not clever, its does not make you 'cool', its weak and disgusting.

Cruelty To Animals
I find it very sad that people can't proper take care of animals! I have two rescued dog's that that were beaten by there owners . One was living in closet with barely any food locked in all the time. I took the dog home and washed several time's to get the smell of poop off him. I have had for ten year's now had has his own room with bed and the best care we can give we live outside the city.The second dog live with are mother-in-law at the same house the dog was use for practice for pit bull's to fight she has one eye but we love her to.

Oh man that's just so cruel. Those are such nice dogs I think they're like one of the most intelligent ones. Maybe they did it as a revenge thing to hurt someone.
