Dallas Wiens, a Texan who became the first in the nation to receive a full face transplant recipient after a power line accident, has wed Jamie Nash, another burn victim he met at a support group, on Saturday.
"I am blessed beyond measure that you have chosen me, and I love you with all of my heart," Wiens told Nash at the ceremony.
Roughly 200 people attended the wedding at a local Baptist church.
The couple first met at a hospital where they both attended a support group for burn victims. Wiens suffered severe injury after touching a power line while repairing a church in 2008. Nash was burned over 70 percent of her body during a texting-while-driving accident in 2010. Source 5
