What have you joined? Basically, this INTERNATIONAL Forum allows you to freely interact constructively (regardless of whether your views are pro-Mormon or anti-Mormon) with many people on varying topics such as LDS Church news, Doctrine, the Book of Mormon, etc. However, do keep in mind that LDS Related Discussion is kept only in the LDS Deep Doctrine Board <-- start giving your input here. Of course you may also visit and participate in other Boards in the Community as well: See All Boards
The last straw was the gay marriage debacle. 2008. I was embarrassed at the way the church handled it along with the subsequent denials and back-pedaling. Only to be followed by a change in position. Then I found out about the Evergreen mess. All doubts I kept suppressing came to a head. After thirty-one years, it was time to move on.
Hi punklegend! As a tip, you might want to give source information for what you add to a message that someone says. You should put the exact quote in quote tags along with the book or page number. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask.
Thank you for replying punklegend.
I wasn't talking about this thread as its supposed to be your intro and not for actual topics. I was talking about your input in the Mormon board. In some topics there you said x person said x causing members to ask you where you got your source from. What I'm saying is that you should add the actual quote and the book you got it from.
For the topics you mentioned you can look up these and add your thoughts there:
* LDS Perspective: Gay Marriage - Mormon Gays
* Mormons & Proposition 8
* Mormons & Same Sex Attraction
You can also add your current status here: Why I Am Not A Mormon
