JUBA On the first day of disarmament exercise in Jonglei State, more than 2,000 arms have been reported collected only in state capital Bor, the SPLA spokesperson Colonel Philip Aguer Panyang reported yesterday.
"The disarmament started last Tuesday within Boma and Bor Town with over 2,000 arms collected only in Bor alone," Aguer mentioned.

Guns and ammunition used by a South Sudanese ethnic militia that massacred a rival group earlier this year came from both the army and a rebel group, a report said on Thursday.
