I am one that tends to believe the FBI stats rather than the local stats. I can see Detroit being like Chicago and as such a very unsafe place to be. We as Americans need to say enough is enough and like in the old days take out these lawless people that the police seem to have a issue with arresting and prosecuting these people.

I agree. Our streets have become as dangerous as combat zones in some places. When law abiding citizens can't walk in safety and kids have to join gangs in order to have a chance to survive then something has gone fundamentally wrong with our society. It is time to break this cycle.

Yes I can see sometime soon posses being formed to take control back from these lawless groups. It has happened before and I can see it happening again. Sooner or later people will say enough is enough. Detroit being a violent city as is Chicago makes me wonder just how many people have to be victims of crimes in Detroit before the citizens have had enough.
