Autisitc Boy Rescued From Fire In Central Trinidad
The 12-year-old child was locked inside the house by his parents who were not at home when the fire began.
Police said the officers were delivering a summons at an apartment building at Warrenville, Cunupia, when they saw smoke coming from a downstairs apartment around 1.30 p.m. Ref. Source 2

I was glad to read the officers were there and helped this boy. I also know a lot of people judge the parents but we do not know their circumstances. Hope other arrangements are made to protect this kid.

This case was highlighted on TV6 tonight. The police officers that rescued the 14 year old boy were praised by the police for their good work. As of now it is being determined by the authorities what should be done about the parents that locked up the autistic boy - no decision has been made yet.
