The men are charged with the kidnapping, rape, buggery, and sexual assault of a woman at Connector Road, Chaguanas on March 30.

They are also accused of two offences each of misbehaviour in public office, after allegedly demanding $1,000 to forego a criminal charge against the woman's boyfriend. Ref. Source 2

I don't understand. So they took the woman and what they did with the boyfriend? They let him go? Did he report it to the police? Because it seems like it was the girl who made the report.

If there was any hope of anyone in Trinidad and Tobago having trust in the police it was just totally lost with what these two cops did. The worst is at least the woman came forward, I bet there are more cases like this where the victims are afraid of the police and don't want to speak out.
