OmegaLaz Introduction

Hello, I am just introducing myself to the community. I came upon this site while looking for an Role-playing Game as a creative outlet and, after I read the posting rules, I agreed that this was my type of community. I hope to be able to interact with lots of people and add to discussions as much as I am able to benefit from them. I hope to be on "Future Earth" soon as well. See you in the forums!

We are glad that you have taken the time to register. To become an RPGer here is very simple:

1. Post 30 Constructive messages anywhere** in the Community thus proving you are capable of good Play by Post participation.The easiest way to do this is to Post in Topics that interest you.

2. After making 30 Core Posts request Role-playing Game status here, your Introduction Thread. Make sure your activity level is 75% or above. The activity level is to ensure that you are not one of those types that joins and then expect to play after days or weeks on inactivity.

3. Create your Future Earth character.

Thank you for your quick reply. I do have one question. I have seen that phrase "75% or above" mentioned elsewhere on the site and I do not know what it means. I haven't seen activity referred in that way on other forums. Can you please explain that so I know if I can manage it? Thank you in advance.

Hi OmegaLaz! Activity is based on how actively your post in the community. Around 3 posts a day will keep you at 100% but you only need 75%. You can see on the left that you have 100% activity right now.

It seems to me that Chaz satisfied the constructive message requirements quoted as follows: [The Worst Tyrant!]

He disagreed with the validity and tangible nature of the question and then presented why he thought the questions is unanswerable, and thus, worthless. I am sure that disagreement is allowed by the community. Thank you for your watchful eye, though, as others may not be sincere or constructive in their responses.

OmegaLaz, I just move a post you made in the thread I linked above.

You need to look at how to use the off topic and quote tags. On one hand you are congratulating us about moderating the thread but at the same time you do not continue the subject of the thread making it all off topic.

I think I understand this better now. I need to use the formatting for a quote, as I did above. As far as off topic posts go, if I am not including relevant information to the original post, I should not reply, even in reference to another response.

Hi, Omegalaz, welcome to the community. I see that you are trying to get adapted to the way things are managed here. Don't worry, that's a process we all had to withstand but, after a short time, you will realize that is way easier than it may seem. Hope to see you soon in Future Earth.
