This is true, animals can't exercise faith. I have never found anything that supports animals being able to see beyond the veil. I know animals have a sixth sense about them concerning people. I personally believe that animals are in the same state we are, they have a veil of forgetfulness.
That does make sense. It wouldn't be fair for a dog to not be allowed eternal life if it was not allowed the position to fulfill it's measure of creation due to an irresponsible owner or something. But what about my earlier question: will we see all our former pets? Do they not have the need of being sealed to us?
Animals don't need to be sealed (nor can they be) to us in order for us to "see" them in the eternities. Just like family members who do not enter into the same kingdom as their loved ones (I.e. mom is in celestial and son is in telestial), we will all be able to visit any of the kingdoms below us as well as visit those in the kingdoms we visit. I believe we will also be able to visit our pet loved ones as well.
