About Trinidad & Tobago - Page 2

I think the term "Trinbago" is also used to describe Trinidad and Tobago.

The English people may be seen as 'pure' but in reality their MtDNA and Y chromosome will reflect stages of development from Celtic>Jutes>Alani>Norman (actally Viking from France) with some Germanic influence,

The Britih Celts, Anglo-Saxons and Normans were all white, since in that sense they were racially pure. Culture isn't the same thing as race. Zulus from South Africa or Yoruba from Nigeria are different cultures and nations, but both are still black nations.

They are still white in the present! humour please we are all Trinis, I hope!
You are mixing and matching terms here!
1. Celts were not specifically 'British'. They alo inhabited France, part sof Russia, Spain and Portugal.

2. The group named Anglo-Saxon contains Celts, Norman and others!

3. Many Normans were actually descendants of Vikings who intermarried with the local Celts groups

4. The tern 'white" is a recent (1850's and may have eccured earlier due to colonial expansion in Africa and Asia) American naming convention encapsulated in racial separatism that many thought would last forever. So is the term 'black'.
and perhaps, change 'black' to Africna whne referring to the continent.
Interestingly, these terms have morphed and taken a life of their own.

Perhaps African, Asian or European would be better terms to designate associations or identity!
