Here is a move for you folks that are listening in America. Get Bush to round up all the property leases from all those who voted to make it easier for people to get a mortgage and then sell those homes and pay back America! Make that move Bush.

This is socialism at its worst! Privatize the profits for the elite, and pawn off the debt onto the public tax burden. If people knew just how much we are ALREADY taxed, and now these yahoos are adding more burden on top of that, there would be revolution in America.... bankers would be strung up on light poles....

...Or not. Most people just want to keep being entertained and be able to keep buying and buying and buying all the toys and clothes and gizmos and widgets that they can get their hands on. Most people can't be budged from their comfort zones to care.

Wow, I agree with what Farseer first said:

QUOTE
This is socialism at its worst!

Socialism, just like any other form of government, works extremely well when used right. (Not really sure if that is what you meant though Farseer) This, this doesn't seem like it is going to do much. Our government needs economic reforms. Maybe this bailout will bide us some time, but our economy is going to fail if there are not some major rebuilding. Plus, as much as nobody wants to admit, we probably cannot afford being in Iraq right now. We've tore there country apart (More than it was), there is no way an immediate retaliation from anything in that country could happen.

"It's exciting; I don't know whether I'm going to win or not. I think I am. I do know I'm ready for the job. And, if not, that's just the way it goes." - George W. Bush quotes (American 43rd US President since 2001. b.1946)
