BUSH TIGHTENS REINS ON CABINET, PUSHES DISSENTING VOICES AWAY

President Bush is tightening control over his Cabinet, moving loyal insiders into top jobs and fashioning a second-term administration likely to be free of internal clashes -- but one in which there may be nobody left to tell him when he's wrong.

Move The Bush W George

From my vantage point, the nomination of G.Rice, just validate's the fact that Bush is moving even more to the right. He will maintain his present course of action with the possibility of being more aggressive in terms of foreign policy. ie: military force rather than the diplomatic route. (He has not learned anything in the last 4 years).Bush will continue to use force in his taming of Iraq and that at any cost to the Iraqis people. This will create an even a greater isolation of the US

Now that Powell is leaving and that Bush has nominated G.Rice, Cheney and Rumsfeld will have complete control over major policy direction ie: more aggressive

In terms of domestic issues,Bush needs to address the over all economic situation in the US. The American deficit $$$$ and the rate of spending are at all time highs.

George W. Bush - The Next Move History & Civil Business Politics

To start off, I have to disagree with you all, I'm a democrat, through and through, i hva ea lot of people backing me up when I say, I don't believe Bush even knows what he's doing...now don't take that as negative but a fact, cause Have any of you seen Bowling for Columbine, or Farinheit 911? Those are very good movies and they display alot about the way GWB is. An is only my personal opinion but I stand by the fact that he doesn't know what he's doing.. They say it's because of him we're doing so good in Iraq, but we're not doing good because we're losing soldiers left and right, and it isn't because of him that we're doing as good as we are, it's because of the dedication of our troops, but people don't look at that, they look at well, Bush is the president so where ever we are in war, means it's because of his mind or his strength, when the truth is...do you see him out on the battlefield, no and you won't ever...Another thing is...why do we have so many generals, when they're supposed to be the best, why aren't they out ther, they've done things like war before, they should be out there and maybe we wouldn't have lost as many soldiers has we have...but to tell you the truth it makes me mad talking about a president people of this country vote for, when they don't even know who he really is..watch those 2 movies and you'll see.....

So, but I din't understand your point, about watching the 2 movies.
I saw both movies, and I took them for what they are worth, .A very left wing view of things based on fiction mixed with some factual facts.

Over the last few months, there has been a lot of comparisons from the Left between GWBush and Hitler. The activists on the Left frequently refer to anyone on the Right as being Fascists. They claim that the USA PATRIOT ACT is a precursor to the establishment of a fascist state.

In reply to these accusations, many people have tried to explain the differences between what GWBush and the Republican Party in the US have tried to do, and what the National Socialist Party, and Adolf Hitler actually did. Here is an excellent essay about what the Nazis were about.

QUOTE
When people aver that 'Bush is like Hitler', it presumes the speaker has a clear historical knowledge of what Hitler was really like, an assumption which is increasingly invalid.

If Bush and the Brits manage to clean up the Sunni triangle and if elections are carried out has planned. BUSH will have some moving room and even greater possibility on receiving iternational help.

No way should any leader or person be compared to Hitler. Even in my country, the left is very fas att playing the Hitler card.
