At least 30 dead after ferry capsizes in Philippines

At least 30 people have died after a ferry capsized in the Philippines on Thursday, local media report. The Philippine Star said the vessel overturned soon after leaving the port of Ormoc City on the island of Leyte. AFP, citing the coast guard, said 173 people were aboard. Ref. USAToday
