Do czars equal change?
If you mean change to the amount of people on the government dime, then, yeah...that is change. Probably not "change" "I can trust" or "believe in".
I really like the inflammatory statement that Maher made...What Obama needs is a little more George Bush in him. What he meant is that Obama needs to just do what he was sent up there to do with less emphasis on gaging the wind direction of the public approval. George Bush took the bull by the horns and got things he wanted done. Now what Maher is not saying is that he wants Obama to be Bush. He just wants him to campaign less and do more.
Bush did that without czars.
This czar de jour appointment craze is basically cronyism at its best. Dont like cronyism? Try political party nepotism.
Honestly, I hope he keeps sticking his finger in the air to test the winds. It will slow down any change that we havent properly thought out yet. We could have used a lot more analysis time when the government deregulated the mortgage lenders. However, if I voted for Obama, I would be upset (like Maher) that Obama is stylin and profilin more than DOIN.
Maher: America, you're stupid
On Conan last night, Bill Maher said a lot of ridiculous things including that President Obama should just ram healthcare down America's throat because people are 'too stupid' to get it. Glenn actually appreciates the honesty -- because at least he's not hiding his views. Most progressives pretend to be one thing, while working for the 'progressive' cause of the day. At least Maher is open and honest about what he believes -- even if what he believes is completely insane. Ref. Source 5
Bill Maher: You are stupid
Bill Maher was up to his old tricks again, calling the American people stupid and saying they just don't understand the issues. Perhaps Maher doesn't realize that he is also (allegedly) an American, which would mean he just called himself stupid. The point is this is what progressives believe. You are incapable of making decisions on your own. Glenn plays the audio and reacts on radio today. Ref. Source 3
Maher: No such thing as extremism
Bill Maher enlightened the American people with another one of his perfect progressive opinions during an appearance with Bill O'Reilly this week. His latest brilliant observation is that there is no such thing as extremism. Well, that's wonderful news! Glenn plays the audio and dares give an alternative opinion to the all knowing William Maher. Ref. Source 6
Bill Maher Lays Down The (Mostly Silly) Law
Comedian Bill Maher's new book contains heartfelt essays about the condition of our country. There are also some rules for things like typography, warning signs and lamp cords.
