Alias is a television show about a woman that works as a double agent.
SCOTT PIERCE: ABC'S 'ALIAS' WILL GET A LIFT FROM 'LOST'
ABC has made official what was utterly obvious to everyone who pays any attention to television -- "Alias" won't be returning to its Sunday-night time slot in January, as the network had announced back in May.

I never watched Alias but in speaking with those who did (mostly male) they seemed to watch the show primarily because of Jennifer Garner. Like the article mentions there is a cult following of the show, but not enough to give it the ratings it would like. I also felt it was unnecessary what they tried to do after last years SuperBowl when Alias featured Garner in only her underwear at the very beginning of the show. It was a shameless tactic to draw male viewers who were pumped up over the SuperBowl; and it worked, for that week at least.
Shame on them. I saw the show a couple of times and I never liked it. Come on, you have a double agent who looks like a model 24/7, her hair is perfect all the time but he is risking her life every 30 seconds
