Day Childrens World
Well, not sure how this ended up in zero replies but.....
World Childrens Day is officially on November 20th now, and is being called the UNIcef McDonalds World Childrens Day. Besides the severe commercialization of it in such a short amount of time, the day is created to recognize children for being themselves as well as recognize problems children world wide face such as starvation, shelter, and education.

Well, that goes to show you how much people recognize World Children's day. In my country there are a lot of activities and festivities for it. There is not a holiday per se, but children do get time off of school to attend and participate in functions.
