In our opinion: Parents who adopt older children save individuals, society

Imagine being a young person on the verge of adulthood whose life consists of foster homes, whose real parents are unfit and whose recent past is filled with a series of names and faces that seem to constantly be exiting before a real relationship develops. Ref. Source 1

I'm not exactly sure what is being asked. Regardless, anyone who adopts a child saves a life. A child needs guidance. If not from a parent, then it must come from somewhere else.
