What song do you want played at your wedding or what music did you play at your wedding?

I'd want Careless Whispers by GM and Because you loved me by Celine Dion and or Placebo: My Sweet Prince - for the first dance, and then distillers for the rest of the night.

For the first dance with my husband I would like to hear "Destiny" by Jim Brickman
then "To Where You Are" by Josh Groban.

The "Wedding March" is called the Bridal Chorus and was written by Wagner in 1848 for the opera Lohengrin. Customarily, this piece of music is played as the processional at a wedding ceremony. The Bridal Chorus is traditionally played at Western weddings, and is commonly known as "Here Comes the Bride". It has become one of the most famous pieces of music in the world.

Hope this answers your question. biggrin.gif

I didn't have music at my wedding, it was a JP ceremony. I would have had "I could not ask for more" by Sara Evans.

Our wedding song was Celine Dion's "Because you loved me". It actually was my wife's decision, but I'm not the one to be picking smoochy love songs anyway. If I had my way I'd probably pick something like the "The March of Vader" biggrin.gif Actually, we did play "The March of Vader" when we entered the reception hall. That was awesome!

At our wedding we played Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" (The beautiful island) it was a hit for her in 1987, which was when we got married.

I still love this song now, and whenever I hear it, it always reminds me of our wedding day.
