Argentina Breakfast
Are you familiar with the favorite Breakfast foods in Argentina? Do individuals in Argentina generally select Breakfast foods that are made locally or from abroad? Maybe you also know something related to Argentina Morning meals, breakfast time (hours), etc.?
Breakfast in Argentina is probably quite different to a lot of countries. Besides having toast, a lot of people drink coffee and milk (Even children), we also drink an infusion called "Mate cocido" Which is a hot drink prepared by boiling yerba mate (A local herb) in water, then strained and served in cups and it has stimulating and nutritional properties. It is also sold in tea-bags, so we don't have to use the whole process to prepare it.
Of course, we drink "Mate", and is prepared from steeping dried leaves of yerba mate in hot water. It has a metal straw from a shared hollow calabash gourd. We drink it and eat "Facturas" Which are sweet Danish-looking pastries, some of them filled with "Dulce de leche" (Our famous milk caramel) or "Churros" (Which are strips of fried dough dusted with sugar or cinnamon or filled with dulce de leche!). YUM!
