Who Will Be Mayor of Cozyville
Editorial Opinion

With no other Citizens contesting for the seat of Mayor of Cozyville it looks like a grim fight between Mr. Shocker and Pastor Frederick. In some ways I feel that my vote is between a 'rock and a hard place' and I hope that I can get a nother choice. Most citizens seem reluctant to run for office and it is allowing these two to have full time on air and radio. Like most things in life you are 'only concerned about the water when the well runs dry'. Soon one of these candidates will govern this little Community and then many may be sorry they did not run for office.

Closing Date for Nominees

A closing date of the 6th June, 2005 has been announced for those willing to run for the office of Mayor. We currently have three persons contesting the seat of Mayor of Cozyville.

New Candidate

TenaHeff, better known as 'Fifi', has stepped in the election boxing ring and her portfolio is less dramatic than those who applied before causing many to wonder if she has what it takes to be voted as Mayor.

And The Winner Is...?

There is a lot of campaign fever within Cozyville these days including what seems to be a riot for constituent votes. Mr. Shocker and Pastor Frederick have been busy visiting places of significance in Cozyville while shaking hands, holding children and even stopping for a photo or two. The one new comer known as Ms. Tena has been missing in action as the poles show:

Tena 10%
Shocker 40%
Frederick 50%

Who will be the new Mayor?

Many are wondering who will be the new mayor? Many are wondering where to go and yet many are just wondering. Our political news journalist has outlined the procedure for tomorrow:

GM: Follow these rules if you want to vote.

1. I will be receiving Emails tomorrow only for the new Cozyville Mayor, if you send before or after the 15th your vote will not be counted.

2. Send an Email to me simply stating who you want as Mayor from the three candidates.

3. Votes will be counted based on a possible 27 voters. Nine of those votes are possible based on the current Community Citizenry. The rest will be done in 4 random counts by the computer: No vote, or vote for one of the candidates. So just because all live citizens vote for one candidate does not guarantee a winner, but at the same time it sure will help.

4. You have been warned - Cozyville can change based on this vote! All candidates may ensure the Citizenry goes to the 'poll' and vote!

New Mayor of Cozyville!

Votes have been counted and the results are in:

No Vote: 4
Tenaheff: 10
Mr. Shocker: 8
Pastor Frederick: 9

By a slim margin Tenaheff wins! Look out for the new 'Office of the Mayor' where people can make protests, demands, and the Mayor can issue statements.

Cozyville Mall

The new super structure is being prepared and readied for a grand opening sometime soon. People are buzzing around with a new face of excitement with the prospects of something 'worthwhile' to do in Cozyville. Cozyville teens are especially delighted and the young girls are already thinking about new outfits for opening day.

Cozyville Police

A limited station has been erected. Our Crime News Reporter said that all is quite save for a recent disturbance by a man after seeing the face of Trinity from the Movie 'Matrix' made him quite upset. Police say the man is under observation for dementia.

Cozyville Fire

A new limited station . been built and local firemen volunteers are hoping that the Mayor will provide them with the necessary equipment that they need.

Pet Craze

Recently Citizens have become obsessed with having a Pet, so much so that they appear in the Cozyville Control Panels! Those who don't are just left with the pesky flies that always force themselves into our homes. As the mall is being built there is more talk of new options for Pets too!

Luxury Tax!

Recently some of the rich in Cozyville have been crying fowl at the upsurge in taxes, but they can hardly do anything about since the Town's workers must be paid, roads have to be built and this requires Cozy dollars. The new tax rate is as follows:

Less than 10,000FP 2% with increasing values based on your wealth

If you have over 100,000 then you can be charged as much as 10%.

Beware, the Tax Man is part of life.
